Regarding whom was the verse revealed: "O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate"?

The verse was revealed concerning Al-Walid ibn 'Uqbah when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent him to collect zakat from Banu Al-Mustaliq. Al-Walid returned, claiming that Al-Harith ibn Dirar had withheld zakat and intended to kill him. So, the verse was revealed: "O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information..." (Quran 49:6). The correct name of the father of Juwayriyah, the Mother of the Believers, is Al-Harith ibn Dirar.
