The answer

If the discharge mixed with blood continues, you are still in menses until you see complete dryness or the white discharge (al-Qassah al-Bayda'). Dark discharge (al-Kudrah) after the cessation of blood is considered menstruation if it occurs within the customary period or is connected to the blood; otherwise, it is not. Wall paint and natural vaginal discharges from a woman are pure. We advise against succumbing to obsessive thoughts (waswasah).
