Can a young man who has committed numerous sins such as (fornication, theft, sodomy, neglecting acts of worship, masturbation, dealing with bank loans, failing to maintain kinship ties, and remaining in a state of janaba for days) repent, and how should his repentance be, what should he do for Allah to forgive him, and should he marry the girl with whom he committed fornication or leave her?

For repentance to be valid, there are four conditions if the sin pertains to God's rights: abandoning the sin and avoiding its causes, regretting what has passed, resolving not to return to the sin, and that the repentance occurs at its proper time, before the sun rises from the west and before the throes of death.

If the sin pertains to the rights of a human being, a fifth condition is added: restoring rights to their rightful owners.

It is obligatory to make up for missed prayers, pay due zakat, and divest from usurious loans. As for a Muslim marrying someone with whom he committed adultery, this has been previously clarified.
