Is it forbidden to use English newspapers written entirely in English as a mat for eating, then dispose of them in the trash, by analogy with the ruling on Arabic newspapers?

If newspapers contain the names of Allah or the prophets, or anything else revered by the Sharia (definition), they must be respected and protected from desecration. However, if the written content is not revered by the Sharia, some scholars consider all manuscripts written in the Arabic language to be sacred, while others believe that letters themselves are inherently sacred, regardless of the language. The most accurate view is that letters have sanctity, whether written in Arabic or any other language. Therefore, English newspapers that contain something greatly revered by the Sharia must not be desecrated. It is also safer not to desecrate them at all, even if their content is not revered by the Sharia, out of consideration for the opinion that holds them sacred.
