Does a divorce take effect if a man says to his wife in a moment of anger, "You are divorced if you leave the house," and then she hesitates and stays for 15 minutes before leaving?
Conditional divorce occurs if the condition is met, and it is specified by the intention of the one who made the condition. If divorce was intended, then it occurs; otherwise, an expiation for breaking an oath is required. If the divorce occurs, the wife can be taken back before the end of her waiting period, unless this divorce completes the three. The waiting period for a divorced woman ends after three menstrual cycles, or upon giving birth if she is pregnant, or after three months for those who do not menstruate. The divorce of an angry person is valid unless the anger reaches an extreme state where they do not comprehend what they are saying.
