Does fearing jinn and humans, while believing that Allah is the One Who benefits and harms, constitute associating partners with Allah (shirk)?

Fear is of two types:

1. Natural, innate fear: This is the fear of that which harms, such as human and jinn enemies, and predatory animals. This type of fear has no connection to shirk (polytheism) and can even be experienced by prophets, such as Musa (peace be upon him) fearing being killed. 2. Fear of humility, veneration, and submission (fear of the unseen): This is believing in the benefit and harm of that which is feared. This is exclusive to Allah Almighty. Whoever associates anyone other than Allah in this type of fear is committing major shirk, such as one who fears idols, the dead, or those who are claimed to be saints, believing in their power to benefit or harm.

Your fear of something that might harm or injure you is not considered shirk, because you do not intend to venerate it or believe in its inherent power to benefit or harm.
