How can one respond to the specious argument that the one who makes the heavens rain and the earth sprout is Michael (upon him be peace) and not God, and to whom is this action attributed, knowing that this specious argument raises doubts about God’s power and the existence of Michael (upon him be peace)?

Allah is the Creator of all things, including angels, humans, and jinn, as well as their abilities and actions. Belief in the existence of Michael is obligatory. Allah has attributed the sending down of rain to Himself, and He entrusts some of His angels with specific tasks, such as entrusting Michael with sending down rain and matters concerning the sustenance of His servants, and entrusting Gabriel with sending down revelation. Thus, Allah is truly the One who sends down the Qur’an and the One who sends down rain, and the movements and actions of the angels are a creation among the creations of Allah.
