"Filming one's wife naked on video or online is forbidden due to the potential corruption, prohibitions, and violation of honor that may result. This act falls under the principle of 'blocking the means' (sadd al-dharā’iʿ), which prohibits paths leading to undesirable outcomes. The tape might be stolen and used for blackmail, or the spouses might become estranged while the naked images persist, or the husband might threaten his wife with these images to fulfill forbidden desires. Such viewing of the naked wife will not extinguish lust; rather, it will increase it and may lead to indecency. Therefore, both spouses must fear Allah and avoid these actions. The husband must safeguard his chastity and his wife's chastity in his absence, and resort to permissible means like fasting and avoiding forbidden mixing and seclusion if the need arises."
