Is it permissible for a Muslim woman to boycott her brother who insulted her and her mother with the phrase "May Allah curse you all"?

It is permissible for a woman to quarrel with and rebuke her husband if that has an effect on him, for the recompense of an evil deed is an evil deed like it. As for a brother cursing his brother, it is a sin and one of the major sins.
