How can one deal with an eight-year-old child's insistence on asking for things beyond one's financial means, knowing that to be the case, and with his excessive movement and talkativeness?

The most significant reasons for behavioral and moral weakness in children stem from shortcomings in providing them with proper, righteous upbringing. Therefore, upbringing must encompass multiple aspects to be balanced and comprehensive, these are:

1. Faith-based upbringing: Connecting the child to the fundamentals of faith, habituating them to the pillars of Islam, and teaching them the principles, rulings, and manners of the Sharia. 2. Moral upbringing: Teaching them moral principles and virtuous behaviors such as honesty, trustworthiness, and altruism, and protecting them from what would tarnish their morals. 3. Physical upbringing: Raising children to have strong bodies and sound health. 4. Intellectual and scientific upbringing: Shaping the child's mind and educating them with religious sciences and modern cultural knowledge.

These four types, if the guardian excels in gradually and understandingly raising the child in them, are sufficient to produce a righteous young person who fears Allah and possesses noble morals. It is advisable to learn the art of parenting, benefit from the experiences of others, and read specialized books.
