What is the ruling on living in the same house with someone who does not pray, after exerting effort in advising them and supplicating for them?

Prayer is the pillar of faith, and abandoning it is a great sin. Some scholars have gone to the extent of saying that one who abandons it leaves the fold of Islam, while the majority of scholars believe that they do not. According to both opinions, such a person is a disobedient sinner, and it is not permissible to associate with them or live with them if advice does not benefit them and if boycotting them would be useful. However, if boycotting them would only increase their obstinacy, then it is preferable to live with them and continue to advise them.
