Is the continued recitation of the Quran and Ruqyah Sharia, despite not achieving full recovery and being exposed to whispers (Waswas), considered a form of anger from the father who does not believe in magic or the evil eye, and is it permissible to recite in his absence or must one seek his permission?

Allah is the dispeller of harm. It is recommended to continue reciting the Quran, performing Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism), and making supplications, as these are among the greatest means of healing. The father has no right to prevent his son from reciting the Quran. If the son recites the Quran secretly, without his father seeing him, that is better. It should be explained to the father, with wisdom and politeness, that magic and the evil eye are real and have an effect, and the relevant religious texts should be clarified to him. As for seeking the father's forgiveness, there is no shortcoming on the part of the son regarding his rights.
