If each of you designated a sheep as an udhiyah, then you are obligated to sacrifice it, because an udhiyah becomes obligatory upon designation by verbal declaration, not merely by intention. However, if it was not designated:

- If you are from the same household and share expenses, one sheep is permissible for all of you.

- If you are not, then it is sunnah for each of you to offer a sacrifice, as the udhiyah is a confirmed sunnah, and it is better than giving its price in charity.

- It is recommended for one who intends to offer an udhiyah to refrain from cutting hair and nails from the beginning of Dhu al-Hijjah. This ruling applies specifically to the one offering the sacrifice, not to the one on whose behalf the sacrifice is offered.
