What is the ruling of Islam on visiting St. George's Church and taking oil from it for the purpose of facilitating pregnancy, based on the experiences of others?

One must avoid going to sorcerers, diviners, charlatans, and the like, as this involves reprehensible means of shirk (polytheism). The guardian of the patient should continue her treatment with specialized doctors and use ruqyah shar'iyyah (Islamic incantations) with the Qur'an and prophetic remembrances, such as reciting Al-Fatihah, Al-Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas), Ayatul-Kursi, and the morning and evening adhkar. One is warned against going to a church or a priest, because a priest is a disbeliever, and his ruqyah involves polytheistic incantations and satanic amulets. This is a form of divination and shirk. Medical treatment and ruqyah shar'iyyah suffice and eliminate the need for polytheistic incantations.
