Am I sinful if I speak with my brother online from a distance, given the potential for temptation due to the age difference, and within the limits of our sibling interaction?

Communication between men and women via the internet is permissible if the Sharia controls are observed, which are: refraining from unlawful looking or softening the speech, not deriving pleasure from the voice of the other party, ensuring safety from temptation, speaking only when necessary, adhering to modesty in discourse, and avoiding obscenity. However, it is preferable for each gender to limit communication to their own gender, especially in youth, as communication between the sexes often leads to violating the controls.
