How can the noble verse: (Indeed, the believers are those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and when they are with him for a collective matter, they do not depart until they have asked his permission) be applied in our lives?

Verse 62 of Surat An-Nur outlines the etiquette of dealing with Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, warning against imitating the hypocrites. Allah commands believers to seek permission when departing from a gathering with the Messenger, especially in collective matters such as Friday prayers, Eid celebrations, or consultations. He praises those who do so as a sign of perfect faith. Permission to depart is granted to those with a valid excuse, and forgiveness is sought for them.

In our time, this verse can be applied by adhering to the guidance of Islamic law as a form of spiritual permission, and also by seeking permission from the ruler or official when departing from a collective matter concerning the interests of Muslims, as the ruler is the successor to the Messenger in safeguarding public interests.
