Spouses should exchange words that foster affection, avoid raising their voices, and adhere to the words of Allah Almighty: (And live with them in kindness).

Anger is treated by seeking refuge in Allah from Satan, changing one's posture, and reflecting on the reward for patience and forbearance.

It is not permissible to supplicate against oneself, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Do not supplicate against yourselves except for good, for indeed the angels say 'Ameen' to what you say).

Whoever breaks an oath made by Allah must offer expiation: feeding ten poor persons, or clothing them, or freeing a slave, or fasting three days, based on the words of Allah Almighty: (Its expiation is the feeding of ten poor persons from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or freeing a slave. But whoever finds not [the means] - then a fast of three days).
