Who is Sheikh Al-Halimi?

Al-Halimi is Abu Abdullah Al-Husayn ibn Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad, a Shafi'i jurist born in Jurjan in the year 338 AH and who died in the year 403 AH. He was a revered Imam and the author of numerous books, such as "Shu'ab al-Iman" (Branches of Faith) and "Ayat al-Sa'ah wa Ahwal al-Qiyamah" (Signs of the Hour and States of the Resurrection). Ibn al-Imad al-Hanbali and Al-Hakim described him as the unparalleled Shafi'i scholar beyond the River in his time.
