What is the ruling of the Sharia regarding a wife who disclosed her household secrets to her family after her husband forbade her from doing so?

If the wife reveals the secret upon which the husband made her unlawful for himself, then the husband’s intention must be considered:

- If he intended divorce: It counts as a divorce, and he may take her back before her waiting period (iddah) expires, unless this was the third divorce.

- If he intended zihar: It counts as zihar.

- If he intended ila': It counts as ila'.

- If he intended an oath or intended nothing: He must pay the expiation for an oath (kaffarat yamin).
