What is the ruling on a woman dyeing her hair black due to excessive graying and not for adornment, and what is the opinion regarding Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Yaqoub, and is it permissible to listen to his tapes, lessons, and lectures?

The preponderant opinion is that it is not permissible for men and women to dye their hair black. If this results in deception, then it is Haram (unlawful) without dispute, because it is cheating, and the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." As for listening to the lectures and lessons of Sheikh Muhammad Hussein Yaqub, there is no harm in it, as he is one of the well-known preachers.
