What is the ruling on accompanying those whom you despise for the sake of Allah because they possess blameworthy characteristics, and is it permissible to speak about them in an anonymous form, and what is the advice directed to me?

Love for the sake of Allah and hatred for the sake of Allah are among the requisites of faith. Accompanying those whom you dislike for the sake of Allah, while disapproving of them and not condoning their wrongdoing, is not considered blameworthy flattery; rather, it is a form of desirable tact (mudara). Mentioning them without specifying their identity to those who do not know them is not considered forbidden backbiting, as backbiting occurs when a person is specifically identified. A believer should extend their mercy to sinners and hope for their guidance, while simultaneously denouncing evil and hating disobedience. Thus, they should hate the sin, not the sinner themselves.
