Is buying a shroud from the land of the Two Holy Mosques before death considered polytheism (shirk) against Allah?

Purchasing a shroud is not polytheism (shirk), for shirk is directing worship to other than Allah. There is no harm in buying a shroud. However, believing that a shroud purchased from the land of the Two Holy Mosques has a special distinction or virtue over others may be considered an innovation (bid'ah).
