The answer

It is advisable to consult doctors about the procedure. If medicine proves its benefit and lack of harm, then there is no objection to it. Every treatment based on sound scientific principles and free from Shariah prohibitions is permissible, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Seek treatment, for Allah has not sent down any disease except that He has sent down a cure for it, known to those who know it and unknown to those who do not." And "Indeed, Allah has not made the cure for my nation in what He has forbidden to them." And "Indeed, Allah created the disease and the cure, so seek treatment, and do not seek treatment with what is forbidden." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, also prohibited foul medicine.
