What is the ruling on sufficing with pouring water on one's trousers to purify them from the few drops of urine that exit after Wudu', and is the remaining of these drops on the garment outside of prayer time considered a lack of purification?

If the dripping of drops occurs only once and then stops, the person is not considered to have urinary incontinence. They must wait until the flow of urine ceases, and then perform istinja' (ritual cleansing). If they are certain that a drop comes out after istinja', they are required to repeat it and perform wudu' (ablution) if it occurs during istinja' or just before prayer. Every spot touched by impurity must be washed. If the location of the impurity is unknown, the entire garment must be washed or changed. There is no harm in wearing clothes affected by drops outside of prayer if they are dry and the body is dry. However, if it is merely a doubt, it is not given any consideration, and it is recommended to sprinkle water on the private parts and around them to ward off obsessive thoughts.
