What is the ruling on the Sunnah of celebrating in our time, and does it differ from the era of the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, due to the different nature of the streets and their uncleanness?

Walking barefoot is Islamically permissible as long as it does not cause harm or injury. The prophetic Sunnah indicates its permissibility at times, but not absolutely, especially if it involves hardship or danger, such as walking on hot surfaces or in dirty places. Walking barefoot with the intention of self-discipline is desirable if the feet are safe from contamination. However, in places where walking barefoot is considered unsightly and diminishes one's dignity, it is better to avoid it.
