What is the ruling on selling a house for half its value due to an urgent need for money, for both the seller and the buyer?

It is permissible to buy and sell a house for half its price, based on the words of Allah Almighty: "And Allah has permitted trade and forbidden interest," and His words: "O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] trade by mutual consent." And the words of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Indeed, trade is by mutual consent." However, the buyer should not exploit the seller's need to shortchange him.
