Is it said: "Praise be to Allah who fed me this food and provided it to me without any strength or power from me" after drinking water?

It was narrated from Mu'adh ibn Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever eats food and then says: 'All praise is due to Allah, who has fed me this food and provided it for me without any power or strength on my part,' his past sins will be forgiven." Scholars have differed regarding the authenticity of this hadith, some deeming it good (hasan) and others weak (da'if), but its weakness is minor and tolerable in the context of virtuous deeds. It is also sunnah to recite dhikr after drinking, just as it is after eating. In summary, there is no harm in praising Allah with this wording after eating or drinking.
