Is there evidence from the Qur’an or Sunnah that the theory of evolution applies to plants and animals?

Darwin's atheistic theory has been relegated to the dustbin of history. Western scientists, even before Islamic scholars, refuted it for contradicting reason and religions. It became clear that the theory entered the museum of oblivion after the discovery of Mendel's law of heredity and the existence of similarities between living organisms, which indicates that the Creator is one. The Quran states that the primary substance of creation for living beings is water, and science has proven the falsity of the theory with conclusive evidence. Islam and all monotheistic religions believe in the existence of Allah the Creator, and that man remains human and does not evolve.

This theory has been refuted concerning animals and plants, based on evidence including: 1. Reality contradicts "survival of the fittest"; the Earth is full of both "fit" and "unfit" animals, and some weak creatures persist while superior ones have become extinct. 2. If evolution were towards the fittest, why don't the intellectual faculties in animals develop further, and why haven't higher apes acquired the intellectual faculties that humans have? 3. It has been proven that ancient Egyptian plants and animals have not changed from their state over many centuries, and their images resemble those remaining today. 4. The theory is not subject to experimentation or observation. Humans have not observed any creature transforming into another through advancement or evolution, especially given the presence of specialized scientists who monitor any change.

Fossil discoveries have plunged Neo-Darwinism into a "crisis," especially since it insists that all plant and animal species evolve without exception.
