Are both the father and the mother always right, and what are the father's duties towards the mother and the children after divorce?

It is not possible to definitively say which parent is in the right in the event of their disagreement. The most important thing is to prevent divorce due to its negative effects on children, as the default rule for divorce is prohibition except out of necessity. We recommend supplicating for them both and striving for reconciliation, and involving people of goodness to mediate. If reconciliation occurs, then praise be to Allah. If divorce takes place, the father is obliged to provide for the mother and children. He is not obliged to donate the house unless it is with his consent.
