Is it permissible to read the Quran from a computer without ablution, and does one receive the reward for recitation by doing so?

Fatwa No. 102368 clarified the permissibility for a menstruating woman to read the Quran from a computer, as it is not considered a mus'haf (physical copy of the Quran); therefore, it is not unlawful for one in a state of ritual impurity (hadath) to touch it. This permissibility extends, a fortiori, to one who is in a state of minor ritual impurity.
