Does persistent pleading in supplication for a specific worldly matter diminish a servant's status and place him in the rank of one who has emigrated to the world? Or is it considered among his good deeds?

The Shari'ah encourages supplication for the good of this world and the Hereafter, as Allah Almighty says: "Call upon Me; I will respond to you," and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Let one of you ask his Lord for all his needs, even for the shoelace of his sandal if it breaks." Supplication is an act of worship for which a Muslim is rewarded and which increases his closeness to Allah. There is no harm in a Muslim asking his Lord to grant him success in marrying a specific woman.
