What is the ruling on performing a uterine ablation that causes infertility but stops severe menstrual bleeding, knowing that the doctor is not Muslim?

There is no objection for a Muslim woman to go to a non-Muslim female doctor if she needs medicine and cannot find a Muslim female doctor, due to necessity. It is not disliked to seek treatment from the People of the Book unless there is a violation of Islamic law involved. Therefore, her advice should not be taken if she orders the abandonment of fasting or the termination of pregnancy. Rather, one must be cautious and verify the information because a disbeliever is not trustworthy in what they report. The cauterization mentioned should not be undertaken if it causes complete infertility based on the report of the non-Muslim female doctor. Instead, one must refer to a trustworthy Muslim male doctor. If he reports that the ailment cannot be cured except by cauterization, then there is no objection to proceeding with it at that time.
