How is an inheritance divided among three daughters whose father has died and left behind their mother, his parents, and his siblings?

This is a matter of 'awl (increase in shares), as the sum of the shares exceeds the original denominator of the issue (24). Two-thirds of it go to the daughters (16), one-eighth to the wife (3), and one-sixth to each of the parents (4). The total sum is (27). Thus, the issue 'awls to (27). Each parent receives (4) shares, the wife receives (3) shares, and the remaining two-thirds are for the three daughters, which they divide equally. The brothers receive nothing.

Inheritance matters are serious and complex, and a mere fatwa is insufficient. Instead, they must be referred to the Sharia courts for review and investigation, as there might be other heirs, bequests, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the inheritors.
