How is the inheritance divided among a mother, a wife, three daughters, three full sisters, a full paternal uncle, two sons of a full paternal uncle, and a son of a paternal uncle through the father?

If the heirs are limited to those mentioned, then the mother receives one-sixth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, the wife receives one-eighth due to the presence of a lineal descendant, the daughters receive two-thirds, and the remainder goes to the full sister by virtue of ta’sib (residuary heirship). The paternal uncle and the paternal uncle’s sons receive nothing because they are completely excluded by the full sisters. The estate is divided into seventy-two shares: the mother receives twelve shares, the wife receives nine shares, each daughter receives sixteen shares, and each full sister receives one share. We must point out that matters of inheritance are serious and complex, and a mere fatwa is insufficient. Rather, the matter must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation and consideration of wills, debts, and other rights that take precedence over the heirs’ rights.
