How can these accumulated problems and sins be treated, especially with the discovery of being afflicted with autism, and how can one deal with military service that prevents prayer and abuses the Prophet and his Companions?

Sins are the cause of calamities and the disappearance of blessings, as Allah Almighty says: "And whatever strikes you of disaster - it is because of what your hands have earned." This is out of Allah's mercy, so that the servant may become aware and repent, and their misdeeds may be expiated. Afflictions are lifted by repentance and uprightness, as Allah Almighty said: "And [commanding you], 'Seek forgiveness from your Lord and then repent to Him, [and] He will let you enjoy a good provision for a specified term.'" To change one's state with Allah, one must change what is within oneself, for seeking forgiveness and sincere repentance lift afflictions. The fear of Allah and His constant awareness protect the servant from error and lead to His pleasure and Paradise, which is the station of Ihsan: "That you worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you do not see Him, He surely sees you." The believer fears Allah and refrains from what displeases Him, and restrains the self from desires.
