Is a young man's marriage to a girl with whom he had an illicit relationship (short of full adultery), and then they repented and married, considered unlawful based on the statement of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: "Whoever commits zina with a woman and then marries her, they are both adulterers forever"?

What occurred in terms of seclusion (khalwa), kisses, and the like before the marriage contract is a reprehensible act and a sin that necessitates repentance to Allah. However, as long as these actions did not reach the level of actual fornication (zina), they have no effect on the validity of the marriage. If you both have repented, then rejoice in Allah's pardon and forgiveness, and have a good opinion of Him. Know that Allah rejoices at the repentance of His servant, loves those who repent, and transforms their evil deeds into good ones.
