How can a Muslim find reassurance and follow the right path in religion, given fears of sins, ignorance of some rulings, a problem with ritual purity due to a health excuse, and a feeling of inadequacy regarding restitution after the death of the wronged party?

The questioner, who has repented, loves the religion, and fears his sins, is advised to do two things: Firstly, to have a good opinion of Allah, for He is Gracious, Merciful, and Loving, and Allah is as His servant expects Him to be. Secondly, not to excessively fear sins, because repentance erases sins and replaces them with good deeds. He should busy himself with increasing acts of obedience and drawing closer to Allah. Additionally, he should make abundant supplications for his grandmother. If she had a financial right, it must be given to her heirs; if it was an intangible right, he should seek forgiveness for her. Finally, certainty is not removed by doubt. Whoever performs ablution remains in a state of purity unless he is certain of an impurity. Therefore, he should pray with reassurance and seek healing from Allah.
