How can a woman increase her religious commitment and instill it in her children, especially with a husband who criticizes Islam and some family members who do not regularly observe prayer?

Every person possesses a seed of goodness and an innate sound disposition (fitra), and this fitra should be utilized for da'wah (inviting to Islam) and giving sincere advice (nasiha). The educated husband can be influenced through good counsel and eloquent admonition, by providing religious books and beneficial articles, and impactful video clips and lectures.

As for raising children to love religion, time should be dedicated to them, speaking about the greatness of religion and the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and placing signs in the home with Qur'anic verses and noble hadiths. Furthermore, a daily portion of the Noble Qur'an should be designated, and Islamic expressions should be used, accustoming them to remembrances (dhikr).
