Reciting the prescribed supplications during the circumambulation () is recommended, not a condition for its validity. Some scholars have cited the Prophetic tradition narrated by Aisha, elevated to the Prophet (PBUH): "Indeed, the circumambulation of the House (Kaaba), between Safa and Marwah, and the throwing of the pebbles were instituted for the remembrance of Allah." However, this was deemed weak by Al-Albani, though authenticated by Al-A'zami, and its chain of narration revolves around Ubaidullah bin Abi Ziyad. Therefore, the first circumambulation is valid, and there is no need to repeat it.
