Is the method of circumcision for boys in Western countries different from circumcision among Muslims and Jews?

Circumcision is established in Jewish law and mentioned in the Old Testament, where God commanded Abraham to circumcise every male as a sign of the covenant. Circumcision in Islamic law is the removal of the foreskin that covers the glans.
