What is the way for a righteous young man who memorizes the Qur’an and strives for da’wah, yet is poor and unable to marry, and falls into unlawful gazing and masturbation, and is on the verge of falling into forbidden acts due to his sister’s instigation, and fears that he will be prevented from repentance and stripped of righteousness?

The young man must repent sincerely and regret the sins he committed. He must distance himself from his sister and not be alone with her. He should adopt means of chastity such as fasting, associating with righteous people, and supplicating. He must also strive to earn a living so he can get married, and he should continuously seek refuge in Allah Almighty to protect him from evil and indecency.
