Must the bed be washed if a child urinated on it and then touched the wetness, and then parts of the bed? And does the impurity transfer to the hand and clothes if they touch the bed while wet, keeping in mind that the urine has dried?

Scholars differ regarding the transfer of impurity from dry urine if a wet object touches it. Some Maliki scholars believe that it does not transfer because the physical impurity (عين النجاسة) has vanished, and only its legal ruling (حكمها) remains. In contrast, the majority (جمهور) hold that it does transfer in this case. The opinion of the Malikis is issued as a fatwa in cases of waswasah (obsessive doubts) or extreme hardship. However, in normal circumstances, it is more cautious to adopt the view of the majority. Therefore, it is more cautious to wash anything that is certainly known to have touched something impure with dry urine while wet. However, in cases of doubt, the ruling of impurity does not transfer, because the original state is that of purity.
