If a piece of land becomes impure due to urine, and the impurity itself is removed by its drying, then you touch it with a wet foot, and that foot touches a garment before it dries, does the garment become impure by that in the Maliki school of thought?

The preponderant view among the Malikis is that if a pure, wet substance comes into contact with a dry impure substance, it is pardoned and does not become impure thereby. In contrast, the Shafi'is and Hanbalis hold that impurity transfers to it. Then, if this impure substance comes into contact with a pure thing, and one of them is wet, impurity likewise transfers to it.
