Brother, is there a supplication or remedy for Umm al-Sibyan?

There is no specific cure for "Umm al-Sibyan" (Mother of Children) that has been established in the Qur'an and Sunnah. However, it is an illness, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Allah has not sent down a disease but that He has also sent down its cure," and he said: "For every disease there is a cure." Whether it is a jinn possession or epilepsy, its treatment lies in seeking refuge with Allah and relying upon Him, while also taking lawful means, such as ruqyah (Islamic exorcism), seeking protection for the child, and consulting trusted doctors. The hadith reported regarding "Umm al-Sibyan" and its effect on the newborn is weak and fabricated, and there is disagreement about its meaning. Some said it is a wind that affects children, others said it is a jinn تابع (familiar spirit), some said it is the ghoul, and others said it is the owl. There is no reliable evidence that it results from jinn possession, but the existence of jinn and their possession is firmly established in Islamic law.
