Is it obligatory to make up for prayers that were performed very quickly over six years, and is it possible to make up for each day with one day given the length of the period?

Tranquility in the physical pillars of prayer is obligatory according to the majority of scholars. Whoever fails to observe it has their prayer invalidated and must make it up. One whose prayers were invalid due to a lack of tranquility must repent and make up all the prayers performed in that state. The make-up should be performed according to one's capacity, so as not to harm the body or livelihood, for instance, by praying as much as one can each day in addition to the five daily prayers. If one does not know the exact number of prayers owed, they should continue making them up until they are certain their obligation has been fulfilled.

Some jurists hold that if the missed prayers are numerous, one must make up at least two days' worth of prayers per day, unless one fears neglecting their dependents, in which case they may limit themselves to making up one day's worth of prayers.

Some scholars, including Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, are of the view that whoever omits a condition or pillar out of ignorance of its obligation is not required to make it up, because Allah has forgiven mistakes and forgetfulness. However, the opinion of making them up is more cautious and more absolving of responsibility.
