Is it possible that the absence of penetration since marriage, followed by divorce, and the loss of desire and erection, could be due to magic (sihr) or a binding spell (rabt), and is it possible to restore the natural state?

Erectile dysfunction may be due to organic or psychological causes that require a specialist's consultation, and not necessarily magic or a binding spell. One should not despair but seek treatment, for Allah answers the distressed and removes evil, and every disease has a cure. If there are no ordinary causes, there might be magic, an evil eye, or possession, in which case a legitimate Ruqyah (definition) from righteous individuals, or performing Ruqyah upon oneself, is recommended. As for divorce, merely signing a divorce paper or promising it does not enact it. It is advisable to consult the Sharia (definition) court to resolve such matters, as a judge's ruling removes disagreement.
