To what extent is it valid to marry a recently converted girl who is older than the suitor and has a past, given her distance from her family?

If a girl embraces Islam and wishes to marry a Muslim, there is no impediment to marrying her, even if she is not a virgin. Her distance from her family does not prevent it, nor does what she did before her conversion affect it, for Islam nullifies what came before it. The marriage takes place without the guardianship of her disbelieving family over her. The Muslim judge undertakes the marriage contract; if there is no judge, then a trustworthy Muslim (man) can do so with her permission. We caution that a Muslim residing in disbelievers' lands poses a danger to his religion and morals, unless specific conditions are met.
