Were there nations before the Children of Adam whose world ended and who were held accountable, and will there be nations after our nation after the Day of Resurrection?

Allah the Almighty informed us about the creation of the heavens and the earth, the creation of Adam, the creation of the Pen, and the existence of angels and jinn before the creation of Adam. It is obligatory to believe in this and to remain silent about that which Allah has not informed us. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
