Is it permissible for a woman to wear light, comfortable, and heel-free women's athletic shoes?

There is no harm in a woman wearing sports shoes if they are specific to women, free of heels, and cover the entire foot. This is based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to Umm Salama, "They should lengthen it by a cubit and not exceed that," when she asked him about the trains of women's garments out of fear of their feet being uncovered.
