Does dyeing hair light black or dark brown invalidate the Hajj rituals?

Dyeing hair during the state of ihram is not among its prohibitions and does not affect the validity of the Hajj, unless the dye is thick and considered to be a covering for the head, in which case a fidyah (expiatory payment) is required. Some scholars have prohibited dyeing hair with pure black.
